OPEN INNOVATION SLAM 2012

UP! was among the finalists of the Climate Kic Open Innovation Slam 2012 and participated to a venture weekend in Berlin in November 2012 presenting the project My Smart Community.

My Smart Community  promotes a quality lifestyle based on a conscious use of resources and a rich social interactive environment.  In a behavioural change perspective a smart-community links groups of citizens living in the same building or district through a web 2.0 platform fostering economical saving, ecological improvement and social interaction. Most of us don’t even know how much energy or water we use on a daily basis, we don’t think about simple costs-sharing possibilities, we miss community potential. Feedbacks on consumptions and interactive solidarity may introduce in the daily life awareness and social integration.
